A Potts Camp man is dead after a one-car crash Sunday morning in Benton County.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, Wesley S. Mardis, 27, was traveling north on Highway 5 near Hickory Flat when he apparently lost control of his car, which overturned. Troopers responded to the crash around 4:45 a.m.
Mardis died from his injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
