IUKA – A Wednesday traffic stop on Highway 25 near Tishomingo lead to felony drug charges.
A Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputy stopped Justin Wade Sauls for careless driving and improper equipment. During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy became suspicious of the driver’s actions. The deputy patted the driver down for weapons and was able to find a bag of alleged methamphetamine in the pocket of the driver’s pants.
A further search of the car revealed drug paraphernalia. Sauls, 30, of 758 Highway 25, Dennis, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $5,000.
