OXFORD – A Panola County woman has been arrested after allegedly stealing from a roommate.

On April 21, Oxford Police officers responded to 900 Whirlpool Drive for a burglary call. The investigation found that Rotoya Draper, 21, and some of her friends had forcefully entered a roommate’s locked bedroom without permission and took several items.

The victim saw some of the stolen items in the suspects’ possession and signed charges on them. Draper was arrested Tuesday and is charged with burglary, with bond set at $2,500.

Police expect to make more arrests in the case.
