ABERDEEN – Monroe County officials are planning a Senior Day June 30 in Aberdeen to provide health screenings, discuss issues facing seniors and provide lunch.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and Monroe County SALT (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) will host the event at American Legion Post 26 located at 523 Highway 145 North in Aberdeen. The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a free health screening available to seniors from Pioneer Hospital. Guest speakers will discuss crime issues that affect the elderly in the area. There will also be music and a free luncheon.
