BOONEVILLE – Baldwyn alderman Ricky Massengill is facing stalking and harassment charges in Prentiss County.
A Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office spokesman said Massengill, 49, who represents Ward 4 on the city board, turned himself into authorities Wednesday afternoon and was booked into the Prentiss County Correctional Facility on charges of stalking and telephone harassment.
Massengill was released the same afternoon after posting a $2,000 bond. He has a court date scheduled for May 15.
The spokesman said the charges stemmed from a domestic situation.
