OXFORD – A domestic violence call led to more serious charges of kidnapping for a Maryland man.
Oxford Police said a woman had obvious signs that she had been assaulted. After further discussion, investigators learned that Garen Green-Scott, 25, of Baltimore, Maryland, confined the victim and would not let her leave or call 911 for help.
Officers located Green-Scott on Sunday morning and charged him with aggravated assault and kidnapping. His bond was set at $1 million.
At the time of the arrest, Green-Scott was free on a previous felony bond, which was revoked.
