The Tupelo Police Department needs the public’s assistance identifying a burglar and vandal.
On Jan. 21, officers were dispatched to the West Main Laundry Mat at 691 West Main St. where someone had damaged dryers and stole an undetermined amount of money. Surveillance cameras caught the image of a black male wearing a gray jumpsuit and using a pry bar to damage multiple dryers in the building.
Anyone with information regarding the his location is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-773-TIPS (8477).
