TUPELO – A woman has been arrested in an assault case.
Tupelo Police arrested Elinor Ramirez Clark, 28, of Tupelo, on Wednesday after responding to an incident at Barley Courts Apartments on South Gloster Street. Clark is charged with aggravated assault.
Upon arrival at the scene, police found a female victim who had been cut multiple times. Witnesses were able to describe the suspect and her vehicle to officers, and Clark was arrested a short time later.
The victim was transported to North Mississippi Medical Center and treated for her injuries.
Clark’s bond was set at $20,000 by Lee County Justice Court Judge Chuck Hopkins.
