CORINTH – Two suspects remained in Alcorn County Jail and one suspect had been released on bond late Monday after three separate drug arrests over the weekend.
Tory Guy Hastings, 25, of 720 C.R. 992, Iuka, was arrested Saturday, after a traffic stop on Harper Road in Corinth. Hastings was a passenger in the vehicle and attempted to throw drug paraphernalia out the window, said Alcorn County narcotics investigator Darrell Hopkins.
Hastings was arrested and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and was released on two bonds totaling $16,000.
Sammie Turnage, 22, of 936 N. Madison St., Corinth, was arrested Sunday for old fines, but he was found to be in possession of marijuana while he was being booked into Alcorn County Jail. He is charged with introducing narcotics into a county jail and remains jailed on a $5,000 bond, an $800 professional bond and $430 in fines.
James Anthony Graham, 51, of 1308 Droke Road, Corinth, was arrested Monday for traffic violations, Hopkins said. During the booking process jailers found a bag of marijuana on Graham, and he was charged with introducing drugs into a county jail, and he remains in jail on a $5,000 bond.
