BOONEVILLE – A security camera video and Crime Stoppers tips led to the arrest of a Alcorn County man.
Brandon Dale Wheeler, 33, of County Road 662, Kossuth, was arrested March 27 and charged with grand larceny in connection with the theft of a 16-foot utility trailer on October 2016.
While investigators waited for the crime lab to enhance the security footage from the house on County Road 8200, the video was aired on Crime Stoppers, tips came in about the suspect’s identity.
“Once the enhancement video returned, an arrest was made,” said Prentiss County sheriff Randy Tolar.
Wheeler was released from the Prentiss County Jail after posting a $10,000 bond.
