MULDON – Two people are dead after a four-vehicle accident in the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley, the accident occurred after midnight Sunday.
The 911 call regarding the accident came in at 12:24 a.m. near Highway 45 Alternate overpass of Highway 25. An 18-wheeler was among the vehicles involved in the wreck.
Gurley said one person was airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center and others were taken there by ambulance. Names of the deceased have not been released at this time.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
