AMORY – A homeless man has been charged in a gas station robbery.
Robert Lynn Fincher, 27, turned himself in to the Amory Police Department. He was charged with armed robbery in connection to an incident at the Chevron gas station on Highway 25 South early Wednesday morning.
Fincher’s bond was set at $75,000, and he is being held at the Amory Police Department.
Police say that at approximately 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, a white male entered the gas station, brandished a weapon and demanded money. He made off in a light-colored minivan with an undetermined amount of cash.
Amory PD and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department cooperated in the investigation.
