TUPELO – Tupelo police will be partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency to help dispose of dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs this weekend.
This Take Back will be held Saturday Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the new police headquarters at 400 North Front Street. There will be a tent adjacent to the building with a representative to help with disposal.
This is a free and anonymous service, no questions asked. Both prescription drugs and over the counter medication will be accepted. Only pills and patches can be accepted, no liquids, needles or sharps.
