IUKA – The lack of a car tag landed an Alabama man in a Mississippi jail.
Tishomingo Sheriff Department Deputies stopped a vehicle Tuesday for not displaying a tag. During the traffic stop on Highway 25 South, near the Itawamba County line, deputies became suspicious of the occupants and asked for permission to search not only for them but for the vehicle as well.
During the subsequent search, deputies found Oxycodone on one of them. Randall Louis Mills, 42, of Highway 172, Hodges, Alabama, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Mills is currently still in custody of the Tishomingo County Jail, awaiting bond to be set.
