OXFORD – A man accused of stealing more than $1,000 of electronics from an Oxford retailer was apprehended in Tennessee.
Oxford Police responded to Walmart on April 25 after employees said a man had stolen multiple electronic devices worth a total of $1,117.72. The investigation showed that Broderick White, 31, of Memphis, Tennessee, was selling the stolen items in the Memphis area.
After securing an arrest warrant, the Shelby County Fugitive Division and the Memphis Police Department was arrested at a Memphis residence. He is being held at the Shelby County Jail until he can be brought back to Oxford.
White has one felony warrant in Shelby County, Tennessee, and another in Horn Lake for similar crimes. No bond has been set at this time.
