BOONEVILLE – A Prentiss County woman is facing felony charges after trying to bring tobacco and drugs into the county jail.
Sandy Reece, 51, of Booneville, attempted to drop off a Bible for an inmate at the Prentiss County Jail in Booneville. When the jail staff examined the Bible, they allegedly found tobacco and a Schedule II controlled substance (fentanyl patch) inside the Bible.
Reece was arrested and charged with two counts of introduction of contraband into a correctional facility. Bond has been set at $10,000.
