CORINTH – Two people were hospitalized Monday morning after a two-vehicle accident on Highway 72 East, according to Lt. David Smith with the Corinth Fire Department.
Both of the people who were transported were in the same white car, he added. Responders had to extricate one of the occupants out of the car.
No one in the other vehicle, a Chevrolet Tahoe, was hospitalized.
Smith could not comment on the extent of the injuries.
The white car had a Tennessee license plate, and the Tahoe had an Alcorn County plate.
