BOONEVILLE – A two-county pursuit Saturday ended with a wreck and an arrest.
Prentiss County deputies attempted to stop Michael Parker, 23, of Highway 4 West, Booneville, near the intersection of highways 365 and 30. Parker sped away, leading officers into Tishomingo County.
Parker lost control of his car near the intersection of Tishomingo County roads 131 and 132.
Parker is charged with numerous misdemeanor traffic offenses as well as felony fleeing and introduction of a controlled substance into a correctional facility.
Bond on the felony charges was set at $7,500 and $3,500 on the misdemeanor charges.
